DESCRIPTION:Lights on Afterschool is an annual celebration of afterschool programs and the benefits they bring to our community. \n\nEver wonder how a bowling ball rolls down a lane and makes a strike\, knocking down all 10 pins?\n\nWonder no longer! Our afterschool students are learning about force\, motion\, Newton's Law\, gravity\, friction and potential and kinetic energy\, all as they learn the finer points of bowling! Students will also build their own bowling lanes to experiment with concepts. \n\nCome join us at Faller\, Pierce or Inyokern Schools to see what students have learned. Bring your quarters and pay 25 cents per frame to bowl on the lanes.
