DESCRIPTION:Maryann Thomas has generously agreed to be our guest speaker at the September meeting. She currently manages the gallery in Bishop for the Inyo Council of Arts. Her career as a freelance illustrator includes specializing in publishing and advertising while developing her own fine art style. Her experience includes working in animation for Disney. Her credits include Fantasia 2000\, Atlantis and theHunchback of Notre Dame.\n\n She is experienced in watercolor\, oil and charcoal\, and plans to give a demonstration in each medium.This will include "laying in" on a blank canvas for oil painting\, an initial sketch for watercolor along with one or two washes\, and using charcoal with blenders and sharp-line focus.\n\n \n\n The meeting will start promptly at 6:30 pm.
