SUMMARY:Desert Community Orchestra Concert "A Christmas in Ridgecrest"
DESCRIPTION:The Desert Community Orchestra holds its annual Christmas Concert with the theme for this merry season's performance  "A Christmas in Ridgecrest". This year's concert will feature The Holiday Singers led by Amber Peterson\, and a children's choir comprised of the Monroe Middle School Choir and St. Ann's choir students.  \n\n            The orchestra's selections will include works by Leroy Anderson\, Chip Davis\, John Williams\, a world premier by Rick Lineback\, and much\, much more!  A newly formed flute choir\, The High Desert Pipers\, will also play a select number of Christmas favorites.  A final special feature of the concert will be The Suzuki Stings lead by Carol Sue McKenzie and Shirley Helmick.  \n\nConductor Robert Martinez has lead the orchestra's annual Christmas Concert for 13 years.  The energy\, humor\, and jovial personality he brings to the stage sets the mood for the orchestra each time they perform.  Mr. Martinez promises it will be a must-see-must-hear family entertainment event. "A Christmas In Ridgecrest\," notes maestro Martinez\, "will include lots of magical holiday fun for the whole family. You don't want to miss this one!"\n\n\n\nPut on your 2018 calendar other upcoming performances which include "A Classic Winter" on Saturday March 3\, 2018 and "A Touch Of Class" on Saturday May 5.  This final concert will feature the winners of the Young Artist Competition.
