Check-in runs from 0630 to 0745 in Leroy Jackson Park. Please be prepared to sign our waiver\, provide emergency contact info\, and donate $8 for food and SAG. We'll have route slips available at check-in with our Easley Scavenger Hunt included\, and we also encourage our riders to carry ID and health insurance information while biking. The ride itself is approximately 62 miles with over 5\,500 feet of climbing. HSC will provide at least two SAG stations\, one atop Walker Pass (mile 23.5) and one at Hanning Flat (mile 50.5)\, and Onyx General Store is typically open from 10 am until 5 pm if additional food supplies are necessary or desired. Food and drink will be available at our SAG stations\, but please don't rely on these locations\; bring your own snacks\, fluids\, and basic bike gear maintenance equipment. Pizza will be delivered to Riverside Park in Kernville around 11:15 and 12:30\, so warm pizza should be available for both our tortoises and hares.
