SUMMARY:Lights Display Ride
DESCRIPTION:High Sierra Cyclists and friends will be at the south-east corner of Pearson Park at 6 pm Friday the 11th of December to ride around town for a bit and appreciate our locals putting together some exceptional Christmas displays. Not only will we be viewing light shows\, we'll also be illuminating ourselves as we all compete to see who can put together the best display via our two-wheeled steeds (or three\, in some cases!). To make things even more impressive\, musical accompaniment will be provided by co-event director Rick Schofield and will be available at houses with an FM station to complement their light show. The best house display will also be recognized\, and the winner will be given a check from HSC to put toward their electric bill. In the spirit of Christmas\, however\, recipients in the past have donated the money to charitable non-profits around town. Co-event director Carol Wolfe is hosting the after-ride gathering at the Wolfe Den\, where we'll be consuming hot cocoa (adult variety available)\, s'mores\, and other treats around her wonderful outdoor fire pit.
