The Run with your Teachers is back again!! On Saturday May 18, the FOURTH annual 'Walk/Run with your Teachers 5k' will be presented by Burroughs High School and their student clubs. This event, which has drawn nearly 500 participants over the last three years, aims at building relationships among our students, their families, and our district through exercise. This event is not a fundraising event; it is simply an event to have people come together. It is free and open to all! The run will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m., with registration opening at 7:30 a.m. All participants must sign a waiver prior to participating in the event. The event will begin at the new engineering building at BHS. Please keep in mind the campus will be closed to all traffic for the safety of the participants. Square Print will be selling event shirts for $10 at the event. Square Print donates proceeds from the sales back to the district in support of equipment for students with physical impairments. How fun would it have been as a student to be able to 'run' at an event with one of your favorite teachers?
