4th Annual Randsburg Walk
The start of the course will be at the top of ”College Hill”, about 1.5 miles due south of Cerro Coso College, and the end is the Randsburg Museum picnic area. (Follow the green/white flags on the dirt road south of the college parking lot; drive to the top of the hill). There is no entrance fee and there will be no awards, no ribbons, no t-shirts. All participants are responsible for their own return transportation.
The course is "one way line of sight" direct to Randsburg. The total distance is about 13.4 miles. Approximately 10 miles of the course will be on dirt roads and the rest of the course is cross country. Two water stops will be provided:
#1 will be at approx 5 miles, where the course crosses the Searles Station paved road.
#2 will be at approx 8 miles, where the course crosses the railroad tracks approx 1 mile east of Hwy 395. Both water stops are easily accessible by car.
If you are interested in helping with one of the water stops or if you have questions, please contact:
