Classic Movie Night

The Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert’s Classic Movie Night will launch its new film series “Hollywood on Hollywood: the film industry takes a look at itself".  The four films… two dramas and two comedies deal with the fascinating behind-the-scenes aspects of movie making.  Stars include: Kirk Douglas, Lana Turner, Jean Harlow, Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor, Debbie Reynolds, and Gloria Swanson, among others.  Shows start at 7pm at the Historic USO Building located at 230 W. Ridgecrest Blvd.  Doors open at 6:30 to allow guests to browse the Gift Shop and purchase items from the Snack Bar.  Admission is free, but donations are gladly accepted.  For film titles and more information, please call: 760-375-8456 or stop by the Historic USO during Gift Shop hours, Monday through Saturday 11 am to 3 pm for lobby cards.
