Classic Movie Night!

Howdy , partners!  The Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert invites y’all  to its latest Classic Movie Night series, "Westerns…with a Twist!”  (Not your average cowboy yarn.)  Six “wild” westerns will screen on flex Wednesdays, at 7 p.m. at the Historic USO Building, 230 W. Ridgecrest Blvd. The round up of film legends includes: John Wayne, James Stewart, Spencer Tracy, Robert Ryan, Gary Cooper, Shelley Winters, Grace Kelly, the Marx Bros., Betty Hutton, Howard Keel, Lee Marvin, and Ernest Borgnine. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. to allow western movie lovers to mosey on up to the famous Snack Bar for a gold mine of thrifty, tasty treats.
