Classic Movie night!

"The Big Band Beat – on film. This evening, Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m., catch the final presentation of the Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert’s Classic Movie Night film series “Hollywood Goes to War.” Jimmy Stewart portrays one of the most beloved big band leaders of all time, whose orchestra traveled throughout Europe and the Pacific to entertain our brave men and women in uniform during World War II. June Allyson co-stars in this popular classic biopic. Remember, the famous thrifty Snack Bar serves the locally renowned quarter-pound Jumbo “Crumville” Hot Dog Plate, hand-crafted sodas, tasty candies, and fresh hot popcorn.
