Demoratic Club Meeting
The Democratic Club of the High Desert shall hold our next luncheon meeting Saturday, January 19th at 11:30 AM at the Homestead Restaurant, located at 901 N. Heritage Drive. The Club is honored to announce that we shall hear from two guest speakers: first, Tia Courtney, Exalted Ruler of Ridgecrest Elks Lodge #1913 will provide an overview of the programs undertaken by the organization. Second, Eddie Edwards will speak about the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr including an invitation to attend a program honoring Rev King on Monday, January 21st. Everyone is welcome to attend. There is no admission fee; buying your own lunch or a drink is optional. Lunch begins at the Restaurant patio room at 11:30 AM while the formal program starts at noon.
