Ridge Writers, the East Sierra Branch of the 105-year old California Writers Club and The Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert are joining forces to present an exciting and informative evening workshop “Family History, Memoirs and Getting Published” at 6:30 pm at the Historic USO Building, 230 W. Ridgecrest Blvd.
The workshop will consist of talks that will address researching, documenting, preserving and presenting family history, along with discussions highlighting getting published in print and digitally. Break-out sessions for one-on-one questions and answers with speakers and participants will conclude the program.
An informal wine, cheese and canapé reception will precede the workshop. Local authors are cordially invited to display and sell their books at reserved tables, for a cost of $10 per table, during this time and at the event’s conclusion.
