Family to Family Mental Illness Education Course
National Alliance on Mental Illness(NAMI), Kern County Chapter, will sponsor a free family to family education program for families of people living with chronic mental illness in Ridgecrest. 12 sessions covering major mental illnesses, coping skills, meds, communication techniques, handling crises, self care, and more.
Taught by trained volunteers with personal experience.
