FREE CHESS TOURNAMENT FOR KIDS
We play 4-6 rounds of chess. Players have 15 minutes to make all their moves in the game (we use clocks). Our games are not USCF rated so no memberships are required. The tournament is FREE for all students. Everyone competes in every round. Students play in sections by grade level (K-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8, 9-12). Students can play in higher sections for more challenging games. Everyone gets an award at the end of the tournament.
