The Maturango Museum is offering a free class on “How Your Antique Clock Works and How to Care for it”. The class will feature members of High Desert Chapter #73 of the NAWCC (National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors) giving the lecture and showing examples of pendulum controlled clock mechanisms. You will be able to be “hands-on” with some of the movements and the tools for working on them and gain understanding of clock design and assembly. Especially geared for young, technically minded individuals and others desiring information on caring for their clocks.
