Historical Society Fundraiser

Spring Fundraiser at the Historic USO Building, 230 W. Ridgecrest Blvd. All of the Society’s buildings will be open for tours: the Historic USO Building, the Veterans Memorial Building, the Old Kern County Jail, the Original Kern County Firehouse, and the Original Call Fire and Kern County Engine Houses. The last three mentioned buildings have never before been open to the public. A SPECIAL SALES of books from local collectors, items of historical interest from the HSUMD archives, and selected Gift Shop merchandise at the historic Engine House. Plus: a tri-tip sandwich, with all the fixings, will be offered for lunch.
