Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert March Meeting

Featuring a special presentation of "Reading Stories in Stone"  by Red rock Canyon State Ranger Damion Laughlin, who will discuss the broad geological history of the area, how the different layers of rock found exposed in the park were formed, and how this area serves as a history book for scientists and the public alike.
