Historic USO Building, 230 W. Ridgecrest Blvd., and will feature Alexander (“Sandy”) Rogers, archaeology curator for the Maturango Museum. Rogers, former head of China Lake’s Range Department and widely published archeologist, will speak about his book, The Epsom Salts Monorail, which was recently revised with a newly acquired array of dazzling photos. At this presentation, Rogers will show many of these rarely seen photos and will recount details of the monorail’s construction. 7 pm
