This week: Stop into the Historic USO Building Tuesday evening, Feb. 17 for the monthly meeting of the Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert. Guest speaker Little Deer Durvin, well-known local educator and 2014's Woman of the Year for the California 34th Assembly District, will share with the public the motion picture "The Cherokee Word for Water."
