HSUMD Scavenger Hunt

Love big muscle cars, trucks, and motorcycles? Looking for something different to do on a Saturday afternoon? Fasten your seat belts and start your engines on Saturday, September 27th, at 4:00 pm for a Motorsports themed Scavenger Hunt taking place at several historical locations in our valley. This event is co-hosted by the Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert and the Sidewinder Motor Club. Participants will meet at the Historic USO Building at 3:30 pm to register for the event for only $10. The registration fee includes: on Jumbo "Crumville" Hot Dog plate plus a raffle for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for all participants who successfully complete the scavenger hunt. When the treasures have been collected, participants will return to the Historic USO Snack Bar for a finish line food and beverage celebration. A 7:00 pm presentation of one of the best car chase movies ever filmed will be offered to the public for free. All clubs, individuals, and motor-loving families are invited to participate in what may become a new Ridgecrest Tradition.
