Cost is $10 per person. Course Date & Times Saturday & Sunday May 3-4, 8 am to 4:30 pm James Monroe Middle School Cafeteria, 340 W. Church St. This course is required for all first time hunters in California. The course is open to anyone and covers the fundamentals of Firearms Safety, Basic Hunting Skills, Ethics, Outdoor Survival, Conservation, Laws & Regulations and Proper Handling of Firearms. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a Hunter Education Certificate which is good for life. It is valid in all 50 states and many countries.
