This September will mark the third annual International Community Day event here in Ridgecrest. This experience includes presentations from entertainers representing Taiwan, Mainland China, Native America, Mexico, Philippines, Korea, India, Viet Nam, Hawaii and many more. Attendees are encouraged to wear native dress including American western garb and participate within the "Parade of Nations." Entertainment shall be provided by numerous dancers, singers and the Big Band Express. A number of Ridgecrest restaurants donate food while many cultural groups and fraternal organizations bring food or information to share. International Community Day is a genuine, unscripted community triumph celebrating cultural diversity in the Indian Wells Valley.
