Open Mic Night

EAGLES NIGHT AT FRI., APRIL 17 OPEN MIC.
 
Come hear famed “Hotel California” and other rock standards this Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m. as the Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert’s wildly popular Open Mic Night presents a special tribute to The Eagles.  In the tradition of the recent, blockbuster “Beatles’ Night,” the HSUMD invites musicians to join the fun of “The Eagles Night.” Each act will be allowed two songs, at least one of which should be any song by The Eagles. (Performers without an Eagles song to share will be allowed to perform one song of their choice.) These themed nights are becoming very popular, so come prepared with an Eagles hit or a subtle B-side song.  The doors of the Historic USO Building, 230 W. Ridgecrest Blvd. will open at 6:30 p.m. to give all hungry Eagles lovers the opportunity to chow down on the delicious vittles, and sip tasty libations (proper I.D. required) available at the thrifty Snack Bar.  Admission in only $2, with kids 12 and under admitted free with a paying adult.
