Join High Sierra Cyclists on Wednesday, May 17th at the white bike on Jacks Ranch Road for the internationally recognized Ride of Silence (ROS). Commemorative pre-ride ceremony will begin at 1840 so we can be on the road promptly at 1900 with other cyclists in our time zone. Please be punctual in order to avoid interrupting the ceremony, and wear pink if able. Our procession will move at approximately 9 mph along our 8-mile route (posted on FB event page) while being escorted by the Ridgecrest Police Department. Please respect the nature of this ride and remain silent throughout the duration of our route. We will end at LeRoy Jackson Park around sunset, and LIGHTS (front and back) ARE REQUIRED, AS IS A HELMET. We will host a short social following the ROS, so plan to hang around for a few minutes post ride. Please visit our event on Facebook at "Ride of Silence Ridgecrest" for detailed information. The ROS is NOT difficult, so please make an effort to support this memorable event by attending next Wednesday. Please let us know if you have questions, and we hope to see you next Wednesday!
