Shine the Light on Domestic Violence Awareness Walk

The Women's Center-High Desert, Inc. is hosting their second annual Shine the Light Awareness Walk to unite supporters and survivors of domestic violence. This event will be an hour long and the walking section of this event will take less then 30 minutes. We will gather at the water fountain between Ridgecrest Police Station and Kerr McGee. Together we will discuss domestic violence, what our community can do to help and listen to songs of hope performed live. Each participant will be given a flashlight upon arrival. There is no charge for this event.

The route is: 
1. Go east on California out of City Hall
2. Cross China Lake Blvd. (going north)
3. Continue north on China Lake Blvd. to French
4. Left on French and cross China Lake Blvd.
5. Head south on China Lake Blvd. back to the water fountain for a moment of silence.

**Caution** It will be dark outside during this event.
