"Summer of Movie Magic" Classic Films Every Wednesday

Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert is proud to present its third annual "Summer of Movie Magic"  featuring Walt Disney family favorites and thrilling science fiction classics on alternating Wednesdays at the Historic USO Building, 230 W. Ridgecrest Blvd.
Six science fiction classics feature stars: James Mason, Arlene Dahl, Walter Pigeon, Anne Francis, Leslie Nielson, Michael Rennie, Patricia Neal, Richard Carlson, Barbara Rush, and…Zsa Zsa Gabor in a rare “camp” classic entry in the series. Disney stars Dean Jones, Michelle Lee, Buddy Hacket, Robert Newton, Haley Mills, Maurice Chevalier, and the vocal talents of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, and the legendary Miss Peggy Lee will also grace the Historic USO’s BigScreen this summer. All films will screen at 7pm each Wednesday, from May 20 to August 5. The Historic USO Building will open its doors at 6:30 pm to allow patrons to visit the snack bar and gift shop.
