Classic Movie Night's latest film series, "Wow! What a Cast" continues with MGM’s 1940 big-budget tale of oil wildcatting and romance, starring Clark Gable, Spencer Tracy, Claudette Colbert, Hedy Lamar and Frank (“Wizard of Oz”) Morgan. That famous film factory was always striking it rich with “more stars than there are in the heavens,” as was their slogan in the 1930s and ’40s. Enjoy this classy classic on Wednesday, Arrive at the Historic USO Building, 230 W. Ridgecrest Blvd. at 6:30 to indulge in the affordable taste treats from the thrifty Snack Bar.
