USO Classic Movie Night

We’re ready for our close-up, Mr. DeMille. A spectacular, colorful adventure awaits movie lovers this evening, Wednesday, Nov. 18 at the Historic USO Building, The Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert continues its latest Classic Movie Night series, "Glorious Technicolor®" with Cecil B. DeMille's 1949 epic, starring the lovely Hedy Lamarr and an incredibly mature Victor Mature, who loses his locks (and his super strength) over the luscious Lamarr. Need I say more? This thrilling and entertaining example of the famous 3-strip color Technicolor process unfolds, in biblical splendor, promptly at 7 p.m. Hungry movie buffs will find taste-tempting treats to satisfy any appetite at the fabulous Snack Bar which opens at 6:30 p.m. As always, a suggested donation of just $2 per person gains you admission to the movie … and a few cartoons, to boot!
